Year-on-Year Unemployment Rate Slightly Inches to 4.1 Percent in April 2025

The Philippines’ unemployment rate slightly inched to 4.1 percent in April 2025 from 4 percent in April 2024, while underemployment rate remains unchanged year-on-year as it stood at 14.6 percent April 2025. In terms of monthly figures, the April 2025 unemployment rate slightly increased from the 3.9 percent unemployment rate recorded in March 2025 while underemployment also increased month-on-month from 13.4 percent last month.
