Vice President Sara’s Hypothetical Impeachment Trial: Not Enough for a Conviction

To no surprise, the House appears set to launch impeachment hearings against Vice President Sara Duterte over her alleged misuse of confidential funds. House Committee Head on Good Government Joel Chua said that the Vice President can be impeached for the following grounds: graft and corruption, and betrayal of public trust. In the case of a successful impeachment, she can be prosecuted for graft or plunder.
