Lithuania joins the Philippines’ growing list of security partners, with the signing of a defense cooperation agreement during a four-day visit of Lithuanian defense officials in the Philippines. According to the Philippine Department of National Defense, the agreement, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding, seeks to build a defense cooperation between the countries in areas such as “cyber security, defense industry, munitions production cooperation, addressing hybrid threats, and maritime security.”
