The US-PH Trade Deal: 19 Percent Tariffs, Other Concessions, And Impacts to the Philippines

The Philippines will be imposed a 19-percent tariff in its export of goods to the US according to President Donald Trump’s new tariff plan to be implemented on August 7, 2025. This is the most recent update in the string of “Liberation Day” tariffs, first introduced by President Trump on April 2.
