The La Niña Phenomenon: Business, Health, and Economic Impacts

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) recently confirmed on October 10 the presence of La Niña conditions in the tropical Pacific Ocean since September. PAGASA previously raised their warning system from La Niña watch to La Niña alert on September 15, during which time the possibility of La Niña conditions forming was only at 70 percent. The weather bureau noted that these conditions will remain present until around December 2025 to February 2026.
