As is typical, the crime patterns observed in the month of June 2019 primarily involved low level crimes, particularly crimes against property (theft and qualified theft). Eleven incidents of armed robbery were recorded this month. Of those figure, eight incidents involved Chinese nationals. Recorded incidents of murder involved one Korean victim in the province of Rizal, one Chinese victim in Mandaue City, and one German victim in Negros Oriental.

Most crime incidents against foreigners recorded in June 2019 occurred between 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm and mostly involved Chinese victims. Out of the eight kidnapping-related incidents recorded this month, six occurred in Metro Manila. Two of these incidents were gambling-related abductions involving Chinese victims, one alleged kidnapping of a suspected foreign national, one incident involving an 11-year old Filipino child, one involving a BIR tax official and one drug-related kidnapping.
