Six incidents of armed robbery were recorded this month. All reported incidents involved Chinese nationals. Three murder and attempted murder incidents were also recorded in December 2019. These involved the murders of a Korean woman in Pampanga, an Indian man in Laguna, and the violent attack against an American in Bohol.  Most crime incidents against foreigners recorded in December 2019 occurred between 5:00 pm and 11:00 pm and mostly involved Chinese victims.

Out of the thirteen kidnapping-related incidents recorded in December, seven occurred in Metro Manila. Four of these incidents were gambling/POGO/loan shark-related abductions involving Chinese nationals while three more incidents involved Chinese KFR groups targeting Chinese and Vietnamese women.
