Seventeen Militants Killed During MILF Clash in Maguindanao del Sur; Limited Implications as Regional Security Remains Relatively Stable

Two feuding factions of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) clashed on Wednesday, October 30, in Pagalungan municipality, Maguindanao del Sur. At least seventeen militants were killed in the intermittent firefighting that was reportedly driven by a long-standing land dispute or rido.
