More Anti-Corruption Protests Scheduled in the Coming Weeks

Several pocket protests are expected to take place across various locations in the coming weeks, reflecting efforts of civil society groups to sustain initiatives that demonstrate the discontent of the public over widespread corruption in government infrastructure projects. Some group of protesters led by Cavite 4th District Representative Cong. Francisco “Kiko” Barzaga went beyond these anti-corruption calls by calling for the resignation of current President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
