Keeping up with Congress Leaderships: Zaldy Co Resigns from House, While Ping Lacson Takes Senate Accounts Committee

Changes were recently recorded in some Congress committee leadership and composition, following the resignation of Ako Bicol partylist representative Elizaldy “Zaldy” Co, and the admission of a returning member, new Gabriela Women partylist representative Sarah Elago. The Senate, on the other end, replaced Senator Loren Legarda with Senate President Pro-Tempore Panfilo “Ping” Lacson as the new chairperson of the Committee on Accounts.
