While the prompt response of authorities was widely appreciated, incidents like this demonstrate how hoax bomb threats can be disruptive and how these have persisted in recent years. PSA identifies some possible gaps in the technical capabilities and proper bomb threat protocols not just of the Caloocan local government, but also of other organizations that received hoax bomb threats over the past year.
