Executive Budget Committee Revises PHL 2025 Growth Target Between 5.5 to 6.5 Percent

With heightened global uncertainties, the Development Budget Coordination Committee (DBCC) recently revised its Philippine growth targets in the medium-term, with its 2025 target at 5.5 to 6.5 percent, pegged at 6 to 8 percent previously. Specifically, the DBCC cited the renewed conflict between Iran-Israel as well as the uncertainties presented by the US reciprocal tariffs as reasons behind the growth target amendments.
