August 2025 Inflation Rate Quickens to 1.5 Percent

August 2025 inflation rate increased to 1.5 percent amid the higher prices of vegetables and fish as inclement weather and above-normal rainfall caused disruptions to these industries. Year-to-date, the inflation rate settled at 1.7  percent, under the government target of two to four percent.
