Top 5 Regions with the Corresponding No. of Cases

  1. Metro Manila: 1,473 cases
  2. Western Visayas (Region 6): 820 cases
  3. Cagayan Valley (Region 2): 537 cases
  4. Calabarzon (Region 4A): 498 cases
  5. Central Luzon (Region 3): 461 cases

654 deaths were recorded, most of which were from Metro Manila with 168 deaths.

  • Rabies

There is a total of 360 Rabies cases, recorded from January 01 to November 25, 2023. There has been a 6 percent decrease in Rabies cases, compared to the same period in 2022.

Top 5 Regions with the Corresponding No. of Cases

  1. Calabarzon (Region 4A): 53 cases
  2. Central Luzon (Region 3): 51 cases
  3. Zamboanga (Region 9): 31 cases
  4. Ilocos (Region 1) and Bicol (Region 5): 27 cases each
  5. Davao (Region 11): 24 cases

360 deaths were recorded in this period.
