The Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) has emphasized the critical importance of prioritizing cybersecurity for the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry to safeguard data, maintain global competitiveness, and foster client trust. According to a 2022 study by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), up to 75 percent of the BPO sector is at risk of various cyberattacks and fraud if current cybersecurity vulnerabilities are not addressed.  

“CCAP encourages business process outsourcing (BPO) companies to prioritize cybersecurity as a core component of their operational strategies so they could contribute further to a more secure and resilient industry,”
